Jeanne McKeon, EdD

Jeanne McKeon, EdD joined PCA in 2014.  She earned her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston University in 1981 and received training at Mount Auburn Hospital Center for Alcoholism Problems, the Comprehensive Mental Health Clinic of the Eliot Clinic in Concord, MA, the Cambridge Court Clinic and the Cambridgeport Problem Center.  Dr. McKeon has served as a consultant to Employee Assistance programs, in-patient and outpatient treatment centers, Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital, Anna Jaques/Hale hospital, and worked in individual and group private practice.  She was a Senior Psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, providing treatment and consultation to primary care and medical units throughout the hospital generally and in particular the diagnosis and treatment of addictive disorders and co-existing conditions.  She was a Clinical Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2011 and three time recipient of the Partners in Excellence Award from Massachusetts General Hospital/Partners Health Care in recognition of outstanding service.  Dr. McKeon is a member of PCA’s Primary Care Team, providing triage, consultation and treatment services on-site at Beth Israel-Deaconess HealthCare in Lexington, with which PCA has partnered to integrate Behavioral Health Care into Primary Care practice.
