Kayla Agar, PsyD

Kayla Agar, Psy.D. received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) in 2016.  She completed Internship Training at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth Counseling and Student Development Center, and the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center.  Dr. Agar’s training has also included experience at the Leon O. Brenner Center for Assessment and Consultation in West Roxbury, the Boston Rape Crisis Center, and Arbour-HRI Intensive Outpatient Program in Brookline.  She has conducted and participated in research in the areas of the healing process for cancer survivors, peer mentoring, co-occuring substance abuse and mental illness and suicide and self-destructive behaviors.  Dr. Agar provides evaluation and treatment for adults at PCA’s Arlington office.
