Michael F. Jacques, Ph.D.

Michael F. Jacques, Ph.D. co-founded PCA in 1994 and serves as co-Director of the practice. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1990 and trained at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital and Erich Lindemann Mental Health Center. He has worked and trained in the behavioral health field since 1977 in hospital, ambulatory and private practice settings; and in direct service, supervisory, consulting and administrative positions in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Forensic Psychology and Police Psychology. Dr. Jacques served as Clinical Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and Clinical Associate in the Department of Psychiatry, Massachusetts General Hospital, and as Director of Psychological Services at Youville Hospital & Rehabilitation Center. He has also served as a network representative on numerous health insurance advisory and credentialing committees, providing advice and consultation on standards of professional practice, health care delivery, behavioral health practice management, and the collaboration between Behavioral Health Care and Primary Care. In addition to his administrative and supervisory responsibilities, Dr. Jacques provides consultation and psychotherapy for adults in PCA’s Woburn Office.
