Jennifer Pollock, LMHC

Jennifer Pollock, LMHC, provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.  She uses evidenced-based treatment modalities for treating depression, anxiety, communication difficulties, and adjustment difficulties using Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.  Jenn’s approach to therapy encompasses an individual’s strengths and uses the therapeutic relationship as a powerful tool to help individuals increase their insight into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

Jennifer received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with additional certifications in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child and Family Interventions, from Assumption College in Worcester, MA.  Upon receiving her degree, she worked with the Department of Youth Services in a wide range of capacities including juvenile detention, residential treatment, and recidivism.  Jennifer provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in the Groton office.
