Mark Shelford, LICSW

Mark Shelford, LICSW, earned his Master of Social Work degree from Smith College and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Beacon College. He brings 35 years of clinical experience in outpatient clinical settings as well as acute psychiatric and substance abuse programs, inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization programs. Mr. Shelford served as Director of Psychiatric Triage and Addiction Services at Emerson Hospital from 1999-2008, where he oversaw all aspects of clinical programming, staffing, and training. Since 2008, Mr. Shelford has been an Intake Coordinator and Case Manager at Cambridge Eating Disorders Center, where he evaluated patients for residential and partial hospital levels of care, provided individual and family therapy, and supervised Master’s level interns and post-Master’s clinicians. Though Mr. Shelford has extensive experience with Eating Disorders and Substance Abuse, he works with a range of clinical presentations including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and relationships struggles. Mr. Shelford provides treatment for adults in our Woburn office.
