Melissa Alois, Psy.D.

Melissa Alois, Psy.D., earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from William James College in 2017. She trained at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center where she completed assessments, conducted individual therapy, and led groups in the partial hospitalization program. She also trained at Dearborn STEP Program, where she worked closely with high school students, conducting individual therapy as well as co-leading groups. Dr. Alois completed an advanced practicum at Boston Arts Academy, continuing her work with high school students to help them succeed in school and work through complex psychological difficulties. Dr. Alois completed an internship at Phillips Academy in Andover, where she worked in the campus counseling center providing both short and long-term therapy to students in addition to providing crisis intervention and support. She then completed an internship at Bentley University Counseling Center in Waltham, providing assessment and therapy to college students. After earning her doctorate, Dr. Alois completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Comprehensive Counseling Connections in Bow, NH , where she worked as an outpatient therapist providing therapy to adolescent and adults clients. Dr. Alois provides evaluation and treatment of adolescents and adults at our North Andover office.
