Sergio R. M. Korndörfer, M.D.

Sergio R. M. Korndörfer, M.D. joined PCA in 2008. He received his M.D. from the Souza Marques School of Medicine in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1991. He completed Residencies in Adult Psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through Boston’s Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Korndörfer has conducted research in Psychopharmacology and Child Psychiatry and has taught and presented on a variety of topics in Adult and Child Psychiatry. He has served on the clinical and supervisory staffs of Boston’s Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital, and is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Korndörfer provides child, adolescent and young adult psychopharmacological evaluation and management at PCA’s Stoneham Office.
