Stephen E. Hylan, LICSW

Mr. Hylan joined PCA in 2012. He received his Master of Social Work degree from the Simmons College School of Social Work in 1989, is Certified as a School Adjustment Counselor and School Secondary Principal/Assistant Principal and has worked in both clinical and educational settings since 1989. For more than ten years, Mr. Hylan has been an Associate Instructor for the Crisis Prevention Institute, providing training and consultation for school staff, and he has served as a field supervisor for the Schools of Social Work at Boston College, Boston University, Salem State College, Smith College and Simmons College. He has been in active outpatient practice since 1995; held Director-level positions in group private practice and in the Salem, MA school system, and is Director of Organizational and Staff Development for The Guild for Human Services in Waltham, MA. Mr. Hylan provides psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples and families in PCA’s Arlington Office.
