Tanya Yanovsky, MD

Tanya Yanovsky, MD joined PCA in 2015.  She received her medical degree from the Pavlov Medical School in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1978.  She completed her Psychiatry Residency training at the Boston University School of Medicine in 1986 when she joined the medical staff of the hospital where she served until 1991.  Dr. Yanovsky has also continued her affiliation with the Boston University School of Medicine, where she has been an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry since 1991, teaching and providing supervision for medical students and psychiatric residents.  Dr. Yanovsky also served on the staff of Deaconess-Waltham Hospital from 1991 to 2002, where she founded, directed and provided service for the Electroconvulsive Therapy Program; worked on the inpatient psychiatry, eating disorders, addiction treatment, consultation-liaison and emergency services; and served as Medical Director of the Partial Hospital Program and the Outpatient Department of Psychiatry.  Since 1986, Dr. Yanovsky has also maintained a private practice where she has been in full time practice since 2002 until joining PCA.   For over 15 years Dr. Yanovsky has presented medical education lectures on issues of Depressive Disorders, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and their psychopharmacological management sponsored by pharmaceutical companies Pfizer, Wyeth, Shire, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, Forest, Janssen and Novartis.  Dr. Yanovsky provides psychopharmacological evaluation and treatment services for adults at PCA’s Framingham Office.
